These disclosures explain how Prometheus AI, opportunity listings, and match labels work, so you can use them safely and accurately. Each links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

AI Disclosure
Prometheus uses artificial intelligence (a large language model) to generate responses, and some guidance and drafts on the platform may be AI-generated.
- AI output may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or inappropriate assumptions, and is not guaranteed to be accurate.
- AI output is not professional medical, legal, admissions, or financial advice.
- You must review generated material before relying on, copying, submitting, or sending it, and verify opportunity claims using official sources.
- No message is sent automatically on your behalf. Draft-assist features only pre-fill text for you to review and decide what to do with.
- When you chat, limited profile context and your messages are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. See the Privacy Policy for what is shared and stored.

AI Uncertainty Disclosure
Beyond ordinary mistakes, AI answers can be uncertain for structural reasons. Understanding why helps you use Prometheus wisely.
- Incomplete profile or listing information increases uncertainty — the AI works with what it is given.
- The AI may misunderstand your intent or the context of your question.
- The AI may not reflect a recent change made outside the platform (for example, an organization updating a deadline on its own website).
- The AI can state something confidently that is still wrong or out of date.
Do not treat any AI statement about eligibility, deadlines, or acceptance as an official decision. Where the interface distinguishes verified facts from suggestions or inferences, rely on the verified facts and always check official opportunity materials.

Opportunity Information Disclaimer
Opportunity listings help you discover programs, but the underlying facts belong to the third-party organizations, not to PrometheanMed.
- Listings are gathered from third-party public sources and details are often extracted automatically; they can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
- Deadlines can be extended, shortened, removed, or closed, and eligibility may depend on facts PrometheanMed does not have.
- “Verified” means a listing was approved/published from a reviewed source at a past point in time and is periodically re-checked by an automated process. It is not a live guarantee of accuracy or availability.
- A last-checked or verified status does not guarantee the opportunity is currently open or correct.
- PrometheanMed does not control third-party organizations or their decisions.
- Always review the official source and application page before applying, and use good safety judgment when contacting organizations.

Non-Affiliation Disclosure
Important: Displaying an organization, school, hospital, laboratory, clinic, company, program, name, or opportunity does not by itself mean PrometheanMed is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or partnered with that organization.
- A partnership or affiliation exists only where PrometheanMed explicitly identifies it as an official relationship.
- Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify opportunities.
- You should confirm opportunity details directly with the organization.

Match-Score Disclosure
When personalization is on, PrometheanMed shows match labels (such as “Matches your interests,” a specialty tag, “HS friendly,” or an age-eligibility tag) to help you find relevant opportunities. Here is what they mean:
- Labels come from comparing your profile (interests, specialties, skills, coursework, education level, and location preferences) with each listing, using fixed rules — not a secret numerical formula shown to you, and not AI.
- They are automated recommendations to aid discovery, not predictions of acceptance and not official eligibility determinations.
- They may be based on incomplete or outdated profile or listing information.
- A strong match does not guarantee eligibility or acceptance.
- A weak or absent match does not necessarily mean you cannot apply.
- Where results are labeled uncertain, it means information is missing or ambiguous — not that you are ineligible.
- You must review the official eligibility requirements with the organization before applying.
